My dad bought the car in Vernon, BC where it was originally sold and it hasn't been far from there since new. I am finally rebuilding it, though it has next to no rust and is in near mint shape, besides sitting. Having said that, it needs a new interior, brakes, exhaust, tire/rims, seals, flushes, etc. I will post the details of the car once I come across all the decoding I did on my other computer. I am very excited to finally realize my childhood dream of owning and driving the car.
There is a guy in Kamloops by the name of Cole that has yard full of old bucks. If you dont already know him he would be a good guy to know. I bought some parts off of him last year and he was good to deal with. is yard is on the road out towards the airport. he is on this board.
Here is an old thread with his PM info.... http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.p...ht-for-parts&p=2193732&highlight=#post2193732
I've bought parts from Cole twice. Happy to recommend him. His descriptions are accurate & honest, and the parts were well packed. I'm happy with his prices too. Cheers, Chris
Welcome from sunny Southern Washington. I know Cole, having bought and sold parts with him for a few years. And also met him and had a couple of brews. Great guy! He will help you out. Look him up.:beers2:
I used Google Maps to find this yard, so I can visit it later this year, but I couldn't find it. Cole posted his home address on this board, and when I looked there with Google Streetview I saw a project car (possibly one of those little GM A-bodies) in his garage:

She is really quiet, you would never know she is there!! Hey Larry how are you? Hows winter going? Hows your car coming along? ..............Cole
Did you get my email with my phone number, there Rory? Give me a shout, I'd love to see your car. There are a couple other fellas here in town with 68's and 9's...............Cole
The car is coming along. Of course its never getting done fast enough. The floor is in with some minor mods. The wildcat floor is not exactly the same as an Electra floor but close enough to make it work. Working on 1/4 panels now...... as long as I can stay away from the Cobra when it warms up again
