I swapped out my switch pitch trans with another fixed pitch TH400 and a new PTC converter. So I'm selling my KB SP converter. It stalls low around 1800 and high around 3000. It worked flawlessly, just not enough for my combo. It is a 12 inch converter, has KB 149 stamped on it. I'd like to get 225.00 shipped to lower 48 states. I will also sell the ST400, but I will not ship it. It came out of a 66 Lesabre according to the ID tag. Never opened up, it does have a B&M shift improver kit. 200.00 OBO and you pick it up. Got a question. I have just bought a improved th400 for my setup and need a converter. Could I use this one and will it be good for my current setup, 464 cui, gs hemi killer cam, TA stage 1 heads, holley 850 DP? I would like to try race it but dont know what kind of converter I should use? Thanks, Jan
Jan, you would need a switch pitch trans, so this converter won't work. If your looking for a converter, there are several makers, I'm sure you will get different suggestions. I just put in a PTC and love it! I hope this helps, Phil.
