I want to sell/trade my Kenne Bell switch pitch Turbo 400 street strip transmission with a deep chrome pan. Asking $500 but must pickup locally or will meet within 100 miles of BG, KY (Nashville, TN to Elizabethtown, KY). Make offer or would take an Edelbrock Performer intake for majority of trade.

I can hold it until the GS meet in October for a small deposit of say $50.

It hits a wicked, teeth rattling 2nd gear at 1800 RPM in drive at low stall and 3rd gear like most guys get 2nd at 2200 RPM. It is the stoutest shifting transmission I ever drove. I owe part of that to the stock SP converter that stalls about 1200 in low stall and 2000 in high stall. My wife calls it the neck snapper.

I never had a lick of trouble out of it and it easily handled my slighty modded 455 which is probably around 400HP. It is at least 20 years old and probably 20,000 miles on it. I changed the fluid 2 years ago and found nothing but the usual light sediment in it. I decided to go Turbo 200-4R instead of Gear Vendor. It is taking up space in my garage!

I would put a new front and rear seal in it since it is out and a new pan gasket because I over torqued this one. It has a brand new driven gear that showed about 2500 RPM at 60MPH. I figure if I'd had 3.42s with 275R60-15s it would have been on.

I have a stock switch pitch converter that the centering hub had come off of. It wasn't in the end of the crank. My trans guy tells me that is easily welded but I don't weld. I'll throw that in plus the solenoid I used to trigger it and the line-lock switch I used to manually override it at stop lights. If you need a 12 bolt rear/turbo 400 drive shaft, I can hook you up with that, too!

Here's a video of it already in 2nd, breaking loose a bit as I accelerate and hitting 3rd with a bark at 30mph.

Did I mention it was pulled in early January of this year? Only because I wanted something less than 3200 RPM at 70.

Am I too high? I could go as far north as Louisville, KY and as far south as Chattanooga, TN if someone was interested.

No offense, but your location says Switzerland and I won't ship it.

Besides, another person has said they are sending a deposit and he has first dibs. His deposit will hold it for him because that's what I said I do.

First come, first serve, of course. But I want to line up. Don't worry, you wouldn't have to ship to Switzerland, I would mandate UPS or another company to pick up.
