This is NOT a racing story, but still a kill story. On Saturday, Aug. 16, 2003, I took my family on a pleasure trip from Berea, Ohio to Buffalo, NY. for an all Buick Car Show on Sunday. I was driving my 1965 Wildcat Deluxe 4 door sedan(that runs 15.07 in Quarter Mile). It rained on the way up there, so after we checked in to the Hotel, my kids and wife went swimming and I went to wash and gas up "Kitty". On my way back, I was going eastbound on the road the Hotel was on. I had to stop at 2 traffic lights, and at the 2nd, I could see the next light was red. I started up just enough to try to play the light out, but had to slow down first. Then the light turned green and I acceleratedto about 40 MPH. A 71 year old Eastern Indian driving a 3 week old 2003 Hummer H2 travelling Southwestbound exiting the Buffalo Airport with 2 Black Male passengers tried to run the light and hit me on the drivers front corner with his passengers front end. :jd: ou: Naturally he claims his light was green so the police officer didn't issue any ticket. It was his word:error: against mine. My car's pretty bad, entire front clip mangled:gt: and the engine was pushed into the firewall, but Kitty KILLED the Hummer!:blast:.
