    gscalifornia Small blocks rule!!

Saw this at the end of the car show thread and felt it deserved to have its own thread. Thoughts? It was posted on a Facebook page.

just saw that, heard a rumor a while back that it could be our last. Either be ready to pay more or we will just sit at a hotel parking lot like we used to. I will be there either way and will always support the nationals car or no car!

This gets posted about this time every year. Dont worry about it.

That seems to be the rumor every year. I guess one year it'll come true & we'll start anew somewhere else. BG is like my 2nd home town & I'll miss it whenever this comes to pass. Richard still puts on the Nationals but does not own the GSCA, correct?

    BUQUICK I'm your huckleberry.

Richard was contacted yesterday and made aware of this FB post. His response was this (and I quote) "I've made that statement to no one. I did tell several folks that our bill just for track expenses alone have almost exactly DOUBLED since 2012."

He did not make any reference to the future years being a go or no-go. We will just have to wait and see. My advice is to go this year if you can.

I think as long as it pays for itself it will go on. No one wants to lose $ running the event.

Attendance is the only thing that'll keep it going be it in BG or anywhere esp. if a track rental is involved.
