Last night i when to take it out and i fired it up and head a wird gussing noise. thought itwas pushing gas out of the carb so i kill get out and look but no gas so i walk around the car and notice a spray of tranny fluide on the floor and thought a first that a tranny line had came off so i got on the floor oil was pooring out of the tranny. not to sure whats rong with it now. Nerver tryed to start it again yet got mad and didnt want to see it any more. Im thinking that they guy before me had put to much oil in it and then it pushed it out of around the pump and converter shaft.

Sounds like you have a major leak on your hands. Can you give us a little background on your car? If the trans was overfilled by the previous owner, I would imagine it would leak the first time it was started. Im sure once you crawl under the car you will be able to determine at least what area of the tranny its coming from. A cooling line might be a reasonable speculation. Keep us posted.

Well i took alook under there and all the tranny lines were line fine. I got a friend to fire it up and i watched the tranny it was fine for a few seconds until it presserized i guesse. And then oil just started to pour from the oil pump were the convert plugs in to it. So i gueese i will pull the tranny and see what the pump and converter looks like. Or i will just take it to a machanic. No time to work on the buick if i have spare time i work on my truck.
