I just rebuilt my Rochester 2g. It starts up fine when cold, but if you arm it up and then let it sit for a while it seems hard to start. If you look down the throttle body, you can see fuel weeping in there. It doesn` drip, that I can see, but on a warm engine it is too much fuel to start easy. Any suggestions? bob

    >>Hi Bob. This is a Rochester 2bbl carb correct? I have a professionally rebuilt one from a 1971 350 Skylark that works fantastic but I no longer need as I upgraded to a 4bbl intake and carb. If you are interested I'm selling the carb for $40 including shipping if you are interested.

Well, if it's leaking out of the fuel bowls when the car is not running, then the plugs need to be epoxied. The plugs in these carbs, and the qjets, are notorious for leaking down...causing a hard start condition due to the fuel having to fill the bowls back up.
