i recently installed a set of TA roller rockers. Already in the engine were a set of rhodes lifters. is this going to cause a problem down the road? is it not a good idea to use rhodes lifters with these rockers?

I don't like the Rhodes lifters since they make such a racket so that you can't tell if there is something wrong in the valve train.......and they bleed off precious oil pressure.

Same here, I don't trust Rhoads lifters since as you said they bleed off oil pressure and are noisy enough to mask potential valve train issues. Just a personal opinion though. Brian :)

I would say that it's worse to use the original rockers with the rhoads (noise-wise) -the rollers are much smoother running than the stock ones.. -So I would agree with Jim..
