This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. How about some paint jobs that are not your typical Buick rides. Bouncing around a few ideas for our project car and would luv to see some pix of member's rides that are lime green, kandy, orange, flames, blacked out or just something different. Kiddos have a XBOX game that lets you race cars and make mods, one of those cars is a GSX so here is a lime green version: buick_green.jpg

Considering that LIME MIST is one of the colors factory available for 1971 (code 43), It is not 'extreme'. I painted my 72 code 43 (called another name and a SLIGHT color difference) in 1971 code 43; I like it. It is NOT as vibrant as the HIGH IMPACT Mopar colors, but was not marketed to be. To me, the most vibrant factory color is 1969 firemist orange. That color just POPS!.

I'm pretty sure that I will paint my Lark lime green with a flat black hood. That shoud be sweet with gloss black steel wheels and dog dishes(hate Foose or anything over "15).I don't like the current brown nor the Buick lime mist.:Do No:

    Mr. Briz,
Not trying to hi-jack this thread, and I have seen your Riv on here before, but is that '70 GS scoops in the hood? Looks sweet:TU:

    Jack, (350 Sky),
Been following your project on various threads, very interesting. And cool being a father/son project. Not usually a fan of lime green anything, but the pic from game doesn't look half bad. Keep up the good work. :TU:

    Briz,
That's real cool. Got pics from under hood and engine? I assume you used the GS air cleaner stuff? Whole car has attitude, old school style wheels and tires look good filling out fender wells.:TU:
