Heckmans beautiful & discontinued reproduction 1970 GSX steering wheel. As the screw holes show and the absence of the typical horn ring mark attest to I never installed this wheel. Always in climate controlled environment so no stickiness and as would be expected the grain is magnificent. One minor spoke flaw pointed out in the picture. Whats with everyone lately? No non sale related commentary on for sale threads Jeremy- in the future, if you have a question about steering wheels and what makes a GSX wheel so special, start a thread about it. And yes, GSX wheels are very expensive and a Duane repro is the gold standard in repros
Sorry I was looking for a wheel for my car and was on OPG site and saw that wheel and then saw this wheel and didn't see any difference. I'm gonna go stand in a corner. It's not an insult when I don't know or see the difference. Good luck with the sale.
Ttt and remember I will take rough unrestored original 70 X parts as partial trade (4 speed consolette parts not X specific,X date coded mirrors,even broken, front or rear spoilers (air dam support brack)or fastners(chipped cracked in two fine) 15” WG or 7.0 or “JJ” wheels stamped in middle of wheel where tire mounts,broken Tri bar X steering wheel for wall hanger,busted 24 hour clock or tach, large GSX wall portrait, emblems,dash plaque or unused stickers, regardless what it is please run it by me. Doing a rode hard and put up wet,crusty fake time machine 455-4-speed 3:64 w/MT Super Scavenger X.
