Well, my father in law Richard Lank fought and beat: Throat cancer, lung cancer, tuberculosis and prostate cancer. Finally he succumbed to a disease called Shy Draeger (sp) today at 11am this morning. He was more than a father in law to me. He was a dad to me as I had not had one since I was 7. He was a great man who was always quick with a joke and was always willing to help no matter what the situation. He was particularly bad off the past two weeks at home with constant hospice care, but he seemed comfortable. We have the viewing on Thursday with the burial following on Friday. My wife and her family are all doing well coping with the loss. Rich really loved my car and he will certainly be missed.:ball:
Paul, thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. It is hard to watch our loved ones suffer. I know, We bury my father-in-law Friday also. Jim
Paul, I'm sorry for your loss. Sounds like you had a great relationship with him. God bless you and your family.
Thanks all for the prayers and well wishes...He was a great man and will be sorely missed. And Jim, I am also sorry to hear of your loss as well. I will remember you in my prayers.
Jim and Paul. My sympathies go out to both of you. May God comfort you in these times of loss and grief.
