This fall I plan to have the 68 Wildcat's Transmission rebuilt. It's got a few drips and it shows some other small signs of age when driving. I'm lucky to have a connection to a transmission person I trust. As a young guy he worked at an Aamaco in the 80s and now rebuilds truck transmissions for a utility. He has not ordered a 400 kit in a few years so he is a little concerned that some of the brands have cheapened parts. I'm not driving aggressively - so I don't need a race setup but I do want to buy parts that hold up. What kits are folks using??

Just a note, the rebuild kit will not have everything needed for a proper
rebuild, but those pieces can be picked up separately (like Torrington
thrust bearings, brass thrust bearings, etc). They NEVER have the wavy
clutch plates used in the original, so I always reuse those. Bruce Roe
