Hey, my name is Austin. Live in Utah. I just purchased a 1972 Skylark Custom with a '71 455. Bored 30 over with a stage 1 cam in it. Headers and exhaust.

Already learning quite a bit from this board, I'm sure I'll have more than a few questions as I go along.

Apparently I can't post images until my post count is 10. Better go find some stuff to reply to.

Is "Members Rides" the best place to post a build thread and ask general questions? That's where I started mine, hope it's the best place for it.

Thanks for the welcomes guys. It's nice being on an active forum again, my other car forum has about completely died the past 6 months or so.

the pictures bring back memories of the condition my GSX was in when I bought it so many years ago. Same color primer, mess of an engine compartment, baron interior, etc.

As long as it runs it is fun to simply drive it and not worry about a scratch or dent.

    Where in Utah are you?

looks like a nice start there.

Yes, post your build in the members rides.
Ask questions in the specific section for your question, or the bench.

Nice ride. I just bought a 71 skylark custom about 2 weeks ago. I hope in a week or 2 to have it road ready.
