Hi Everyone, I hope someone can help,My 64 Galaxie fastback just came back from the body shop last week.I was having the roof metal flaked to stay period correct with the old school hot rod look. The problem being the shop did a great job re leading the seams and everything but the metal flake in dull overcast days looks like grey primer was shot on top of the paint.(It is the metal flake showing through the paint).I suggested to the shop they use a red metal flake but they used silver instead. My question is since the roof is clear coated could I have another coat put on top with red metal flake in it and then clear it a few times.Any help would be great,Cheers Curtis ps. I still have my Sportswagon.(Still a Buick guy):beers2:
