Need to get the bumpers on the stg1 rechromed. I have read the other threads on the subject. Have contacted TriCity. Might use them. But I came across Micro Platers in Wayne. Advantage for me is they are only a 20min drive. No freight. Has anyone used them? Results?
I used them when they were under a different name Circa 1997. They did decent work...it was not triple plated show quality, but it was much better than OEM . I went by there about 3 months ago to have them look at my slightly tweaked 70 GS front bumper. They said they could fix it but probably needed to be stripped and rechromed. They were estimating @ $900-$1000 for repair and rechrome. I have not seen any recent work, so I can't speak to their current chrome quality. Hope that helps!
