I'm looking for the Rear Window Trim Clips for my '68 Skylark. I have a bad leak that I traced to the rear window and when pulling off the trim the clips were breaking due to rust and rot :( . I'm going to pop the window out, fix and/or replace the metal but I'm in need of new clips. Can't find them anywhere :Do No: . Anyone know of a place I can get them over nighted?

    Thanks

    Wayne

    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

You should be able to get those from most auto parts stores. Check the "HELP" section.

    If not, visit www.mrgusa.com

After posting I headed over to Yearone and placed my order. I did not think of it until the post was made :Dou:

Thanks for the link GStage1. I will put it in my favorites for the future :TU:

One thing about Mr. G's is they have a ton of stuff, but don't expect them to make any recommendations for you. You "NEED" to order the correct part based on the pics of their fasteners in their catalog.

If you don't have an original piece to look at to make that determination, you're screwed. They don't have a listing my car manufacturer on all their parts like a lot of other vendors do. They claim there is just too many cross references. And they are probably right. Probably why all the other vendors have half their applications either wrong or incomplete.

Thanks... I'm going to need as much help as I can get. I'm just starting to scratch the surface of this project and I'm already in over my head  I'm looking forward to the challenge and can't wait for the results.
