I have dual exhaust on my 350 71 buick skylark and I need to know what the best muffler would be to get that deep throaty sound when im at a stop. Ive heard alot of things and I need some good advice.

    Got Headers?

I put hooker Aero Chamber mufflers on mine. It sounds pretty darn good. I like it! :Brow: Quite loud above 3500 rpm too.

I've heard Dynomax are good too. No personal experience though.

I would say the Hooker Aero Chamber mufflers are a bit louder than Flowmasters.

That's my two cent opinion! :beer :TU:

I like my large case mufflers from StraightLine Performance. Very deep throaty sound. They are quieter than Flowmasters when just driving around, but mash the throttle and it's LOUD.

I like the sound of Dynomax Super Turbos ... knew a guy with them on his 70 Javelin... sounded mild at a stop, but when he got on it the car opened up and the exhaust note was somewhat like a race car (only quieter)... I've also heard the Aero Chambers are good... but never heard any Straightline Performance mufflers to vouch for them :Do No:

I have 3" Straightline Performance muffs behind my 455 and they are by far the most powerful, quietest and nicest sounding mufflers I have ever used. I used to swear by the Dynomax super turbos but they have an annoying high frequency growl that I have grown to dislike, much like flowmasters.
