I never looked at this thread until recently and I never knew what it was all about. As looked thru it I finally got what it was all about, and I thought I would share. This car showed up at a end of the year car show I was attending. The weather was crappy to start with and there wasn’t many cars in attendance. Even if there was a better turn out this car would have stood out...as I watched it pull in I was excited to see the front end of this patriotic themed 56 Chevy, I’ve been a tri-five fan longer than a Buick fan, then it turned into a space and I saw it all.....I had a scratch your head WTF moment. I never had the chance to talk to the owner as it pretty much rained the whole time and it was cold to boot and everyone was scattered to keeping warm and dry. I was told he used to attend a lot of cruise ins and shows but not so much anymore. I hope to catch up with him this year to hear what his inspiration for the build was. Can you count all the parts of cars that have been sculpted into this?

Wow.....and thank God it is from North Carolina (key up the traditional banjo movie soundtrack).

“I have a 1989 Cadillac Hearse for sale. I used it for my paranormal investigations. I placed a back seat in it, it is not bolted down, though. All it needed was a windshield, I found a place that will bring a windshield up and install it. Once the new windshield is in I will take new pictures.
    Serious inquires only.”

I can’t help wonder if he lost one of his paranormal assistants through the missing windshield via the unbolted back seat.

Guess the only silver lining was the hearse was already on the scene? Picturing the driver in a tall black top hat & greasy mullet. That interior is screaming biohazard too, if the seat don’t git ya first! Wow

Coming from Goldsboro it is probably much easier to find skeletons down the backroads than that windshield lol

Really amazed he didn’t throw a ton of silicone on it and then slams a hazy, grazed, sheet of ragged plexiglass down and call it “Gud!”.

    1972Mach1 Just some M.M.O.G. guy.....

You guys don't have mobile glass installers out east? Very common here, Safelite is nationwide I do believe, and that's their main gig. Most glass shops here will come to your home or work and install a windshield on site.
