Just got mine Thursday. Great picture and write up of my son Justin and his first ever race. He just needs a little practice on the tree and clutch. Unfortunatley, no write up on my son Eric. Just his stat'so No:
got my in the mail yesterday. I agree, not as many pictures. but my guess is with a record number of cars, pics of everything it would have taken over the entire magazine ... not that that is a bad thing  I still need to find the latest copy of Pontiac Enthusiast, not to mention get a subscription.
Got mine today. Congrats to those who won and to those who got pictured. Thanks to all who make it a great weekend. Top ten shared by GM and Mopar. Too bad Riebel's Vette broke. He never loses. :bla: :beers2:
Go back and check out the "Jungle Pam" and "Linda" shots that Rusty posted. Enough to stop my poor old heart.
You're over the hill, Frank, beyond the point of no return. Rusty's pics got mine going again! I met each of them (together if you can fathom that) at a race at Motor City Dragway in July, 1966. Speechless for a few weeks after that. They had to yell back and forth to have a conversation with each other as they couldn't get within earshot for a normal conversation. My girlfriend at the time (definitely well endowed herself) was dutifully impressed and I think her words were something like "Holy s**t!" when she first spotted the four of them. Linda was there with the Hurst crowd (with the Hairy Olds) and Jungle Pam was there with Jungle Jim's 66 Nova funny car. Wild night!
Dave, Remember I was 50 when Shelly was born. Pretty much wore everything out by then. Saw Pam at the Springnats at Columbus. Took a week for me to get my tongue rolled baclk into my mouth. Filled out a pair of shorts too she did! Saw Linda a couple times from a distance at the Nationals, poor girl, hard:beer for her to walk like that.
I got my MCE Thursday in the mail. I thought it was funny that of all the cars there and the few pictures that were published, they put one of the roughest cars in there on the second page of the article. Our ratty unrestored convertible. I guess it just photographs well.
What's the big deal about Jungle Pam? She always seemed like a Butterface. Why not have some (.Y.) hotties from head to toe?
To each his own. I'll take Pam's face over Linda's any day of the week. And her hair, and her legs, and her a.....aaahhh never mind. :bglasses:
Need to get Rusty to jump in here, I'm not sure where we got into this. He's got several million Pam shots. Mark: I could sure as hell try to fill the void, pam's void.
Pegleg, I was trying to remember the thread that we put all of the photos on. Over on the Yenko board, there was a gentlemen that was step for step with me on photos. I will post the link here: http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/295363/an/0/page/0#Post295363 I will see if I can dig up a couple of more to help out!
