This was probaly a good year ago since the car has been off the road for almost a year now. But anyways the local cruise spot was pretty filled, alot of rice roaming around. I guess there was some guy in a wrx ( all wheel drive) that was turboed and all the goodies. bragging to everyone that he runs high 11s. So this guy have confidence to the rest of the rice lol. So he is cruising and my buddies and I are parked at the ups store right on the main. Everytime he would cruise by he would set off the blow off valve. about 4 times I start getting mad, cause the ricers are thinkin there all bad cause we dont come out. So I got in my Lark and one of my friends gets in his 71 camaro (383 stroker) and head out after them, well he turned around so we passed going opposite directions and he revved and pilled off to the side to wait, I get to the turn around and then get up to him, So I had the 67 next to him at a light, and my friend in thecamaro was next to the ricers friend in a procharger 4.6 mustang, This guy was acting all cocky revving up, so it brought attention to many of his followers.. So im watching the light, he was revving up. So I preloaded and the car stood up and that guy completely stopped. wouldnt look over anymore. We launch from the light and I jumped him hard. I only went up to 65 since the speed limit was 25 I think and let off, my buds sitting at the ups store said easily 6 cars, still pulling. then when my friend in the camaro pulled up he beat the mustang by about 4 lenghts i guess. So overall not to bad off a night, showed the ricers not to play around, and didnt go to jail :Brow: so yep good night overall.

    Good Kill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Talk is cheap. A friend has a stock WRX and he told me to meet him at the local ricer-x night in a parking lot by the mall. I brought the Turbo and everyone wanted a piece of it. I said who has the fastest car here? I took him for a ride as there were cops everywhere and I would not risk a race but knew they would not follow a single car. I went to I-75 and gassed it on the on ramp turned around at the next exit and returned. He said he could not beat my car and that ended it for the rest of them.

They talk fast but getting to 11's is harder than they think. They bolt on all these go fast pieces subtract what the ad says it will reduce your ET or add horsepower and they think they can get 11's.

I wrote the "Killed a Munstang Too" story. He bolted in headers, a cam and bought sticky tires and figured he would run low 12's. I went by him way to fast for him to be a low 12 second car.

Good story keep up the good work.

Ha, mustangs always think there fast. I know that the wrx wasnt no 11sec car. But I also dont know what my car will do, The only time I ran it I got a 12.701 @ 108.9. Slow but I was on my street tires, everyday street tires. I had dropped 4000 feet in elevation, didnt change the jets, or look at the timing:spank: I later found that the car was set at 4 degrees initial. I was running a 700r4 with a 2800 stall and 4.11 gears, the posi didnt work, it went out on me in the burnout.. and my stock fuel pump w/ stock 5/16 line wasnt helping either.. So IDK, should of been 11s. I think. My bud with the camaro I was talking about was running a 13.5 that night, and he put on a set of m/t et streets and went to a 12.68
