my car bog on the idle and when I drive. It makes that since my car sit for 2 week. can it be my battery? or the carb ? the gas because my tank was empty? I have a 80 riviera Thanks
Sitting for two weeks shouldn't really affect it. My cars sit for months and still start and run fine. If it is starting, that wouldn't be a battery problem. May either be bad gas, dirty carb or a clogged filter.
some time its run fin and start to bug. I have change the filter 1 years ago. I think I time to do a carb tune up
Replace the filter and just a thought here , your tank may need to be boiled out due to varnish in the tank and you have the bottom of the barrel going in the carb. and filter . Try fresh gas , replace the filter ( buy a spare ) you'd be wise to change it after the first tank of gas is used. Clean carb. with a good can of Gumout carb. cleaner . And keep gas in these old gas tanks , winterize the gas when stored . This gas today is garbage . Good Luck
