George, let me suggest Paccar as a good place to invest your money until you get back. Try to get in on a dip in price if you can. I bought some at 67 a few weeks ago and already made 10% on paper. This stock just keeps going up...

PACCAR is a global technology leader in the design, manufacture and customer support of high-quality light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks under the Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF nameplates. It also provides financial services and information technology and distributes truck parts related to its principal business.

    See: http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=PCAR

Up to you what to do with your money. I like investing a part of it in something that pays back dividends and doesn't leak.

George, Good luck in your search, I know you have been looking for the right car for a long time! Surely it's out there...

ChinaMikeM, I am a PACCAR employee (Peterbilt) and you are right about the stock. The company has a financial track record that is fantastic. Also a great company to work for.
