This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

    800 Cfm carb is too much for a 350 motor.......should have a 600-750.

Carb change from 750 to 800 lowered my ET from 14.70 to 14.39 last fall. My backstepping this year started with the gear and intake change.

You might want to consider going back to the combo you ran last year. Don't feel to bad, I'm having trouble getting my 455 into the 13s. How embarressing is that!

    Dan,
Where is the car losing it? What are your 60' times? Is it launching hard and running out of steam on the top end, or is it leaving soft and never quite making up for it?

    Dan,

Been there man, I feel for ya.

The answer in Wagon's case was bang-for-the-buck mods....

Rear swaybar, frame ties, jounce bars, airbags: < $100 worth 3 tenths in unspun and non-hopping tires...

Lightening the frame, engine bay, cutting out inner door panels and interior pieces probaly won't help much but it's easy and free.

You can also do low dollar projects like battery relocations and tire size experiements (using wrecker tires) to find the best combo.

Don't give up man, I think you've got a wining combo!!
