My name is Merlin Achord. I live in Ponchatoula, La.. I have had many antique cars from 1928 Model A to 1960 Impala. I have owned a few 1955 & 1956 Buicks, but this is my first 1978 Buick. (Park Avenue W/403 engine) It is in the number 2 or 3 range, but the AC clutch went out. I have all the repair manuals I can find, but they don't have a year range of parts that is interchangeable with the 1978. If someone could give me the years that are the same for the AC clutch, I will put a ad in the parts wanted section. This looks like a very good site. Thanks in advance.
I bet you could find one in a yard pretty easily....just a hunch. Might be a couple guys on the board with a compressor.
