Hello, I have a 65 skylark Gran sport with st 300 automatic trans. The old owner put in a .278 rear end for Gas mileage!!!! Anyway, looking for the STOCK posi rear end (.308) Anyone out there??? Thanks in advance, Steve
65 GS I have... I have a 65 gs thats in need of a new, good home. where are you located? Car is near Hickory NC. It would make a good " doner " for you. It has 401-340 horse ( everything there except carb ), 300 turbine, rear end ( not sure of ratio or posi at this time,but when running it would tach-up pretty quick ). Body complete and front end is pretty good, but some kids vandilized it by breaking out the glass. uph. rotted out, but metal is good. came with remote mirror, console & shifter, ps, pb, & transferable title. I have been asking $1200, but I'll go $1000 now and we can talk. thanks robert lafone
