I am missing four stock push rods and a dipstick for my 300. I actually have 14 of the 16 push rods but two of them are larger in diameter than the rest and I'm still two short. The rest of them look good but there is a very tiny flat spot on each ball-end, is that how they're supposed to be? If so the rest are all straight and in good shape. If not I guess I'm looking for a whole set. I have a full set of 340 push rods if anyone needs those.
Hi Jim I have 2 old valve covers full of pushrods, I'm guessing from my car's original 300. I'll take some pictures and in the mean time give me some quick dimensions to make sure mine match yours, like give me overall length and diameter. I have no use for these as I've dropped a 350 in my 64 Special. There is also some rocker arms on shafts too.
Here is what I have. Looks like I have (16) pushrods, they are about 9 3/8" long and 5/16". Also have those other parts, plus the two valve covers which I'm guessing are for a 64 300. Let me know what you'd like to do.
I just measured mine, they're 8-9/16 tip to tip and 1/4" in diameter. My 340 pushrods are about a quarter inch longer and the same diameter. I have valve covers for both engines.
