If you notice Steve, he's got the meter on the 500 scale, so I dont think there isn't a decimal point. I think it will only read whole numbers on that scale since it only has thee digits on the display. In other words, the decimal is all the way to the right. He needs to move it to the 20 scale to get whats to the right of the decimal point. It threw me also because he was showing 009 volts in the previous picture

Ah so :,) it seems it's slightly dead, as it's going around 5 volts ATM, but is there anything else I can do ATM? (Charging the battery.)

5 volts? Didn't it read 12 volts yesterday?

Yeah not sure what happened earlier but It's back to 12.15 volts again

Battery is definitely low on charge. Needs to be charged up for sure. When it reads 12.75 its fully charged.

Shouldn't stop you from testing the neutral safety switch though. What were your findings on that?

That would be the bulkhead connector. Great news! Glad you got it going. Hopefully you learned something about your starting system along the way. I would highly recommend getting a copy of the factory Buick chassis manual. Its an invaluable resource if you want to fix your car.

Alright! So, I was wondering if you guys knew what kind of bolt that is used to keep the bulkhead connector together?

It's kind of a special bolt, usually it goes in the middle. If you ask here in Parts wanted, somebody probably has one.

I think I have a wiring diagram here somewhere. Which ones are you looking for? Usually checking where a disconnected wire will reach, can lead to a connector looking for a wire!!

Hey guys, back again with another problem, so we had it running and all that fun stuff but when I put it into neutral it just died and won't start over again Just need some extra helpers. Fusible links are all good, the bulkhead connector is in good (have taken it out a few times just to see if It wasn't in all the way.) just wondering if you guys had any ideas as I'm gonna check everything over

You need 3 things for an engine to run, fuel, spark, and air. First figure out which one you are missing, then go from there.

Not sure if anyone answered this but the 2 wire connector is for your AC compressor that's not there anymore. The single green wire is for your temperature light. Goes on the temp sender on the intake
