    For me and others.
Last saturday,Dustin and I went to Home Depot to get some storage compartments. On our way home,we were coming home on I-80 and came across a bad accident.Seems an East bound car crossed the median and hit a car going west ejecting 3 Penn State grads. The driver was wearing a seat belt but the 3 ejected weren't.3 of them died but 1 of the ejected ones was lifeflighted and lived miracously. One was hit by a car after being ejected and was thrown 40 yards into a muddy ditch. When we finally seen her,I ran to her assistance. She died a few moments later while I was with her. This was the 2nd time since Christmas that I was there in someones last minutes.Today,I was working on 80 plowing snow and there was another 2 people who died in accidents. The one was Donald Snook,(a neighbor) who was working for a neighboring towing company. He was pulling a car that slid off the road and was struck from behind and thrown over 100 feet. His lower legs were severed and he died instantly.I was the first one there(again) and had to cover up a known persons body.He left behind a wife and 2 children.I am feeling really down about this and know that there is absolutely nothing I can do.Confusion as to why I seem to be picked by GOD to be the one who witnesses these things and is there when people take their last breath.I don't know why he picked me for this, but I am sure there is a valid reason.I have been thinking alot about life lately and the true meaning of it as well as how delicate it really is and sometimes we take it for granted.I have a new outlook on life and will appreciate the smaller things more.I would appreciate it if you keep Djung Tchoi,Hyeonhwa Lee Joo-Ook Kim,Jinhee Kim,Donald Snook and I in your prayers as well as their families.

Pat - I suspect it's more than a coincidence, that you've been singled out to witness these particular events. Although I'm not 100% sure why.....I know who does - Jesus.

The single biggest question any of us will EVER answer is....."what did we do with Jesus"? We can either accept Him or reject Him.

I'm not sure I've ever heard you make mention of where you stand, as far as your relationship with the Lord. Maybe you've already accepted Him......or maybe you just haven't given it much thought - until now.

It's quite possible, that God is giving you a reminder, to consider where you stand with Him. None of us knows when our time is coming, but, if we depart this life without accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior - it will be too late!! Same goes for our friends and loved ones.

I would strongly encourage you, or anyone else that has questions, to click on the below link for online guidance. We CAN know, with 100% certainty - where we will spend Eternity!!

    The Gospel

You can be sure that I, and many others on this board, will be praying for you and the families of all those involved!! :TU: In some way, maybe these tragic events could be a blessing in disguise for you and all those around you.

If you'd prefer to ask questions in private - please feel free to PM me.

Thank you all for the understanding. My job requires me to stop whenever there's an accident to get the initial help needed. This year has been tougher than most but I know that I have a job to do and it sometimes overwhelms me.I would like to thank Gary and Scott for the links....It really did help.I do know that there is a reason I have been dealt this, but I am unsure as to what it is.I am strong enough to get through this and have become a better man for it.I now don't take life as leisurely and believe God has given me something special.I have been the last person that 2 people seen before dying and he knew I would be strong for them.I only hope that I see someone there for me whenever it is my time.Thank You for making me a believer in GOD and my fellow man.

Scott has put it very well.

There is a purpose for all that God allows to happen in our life. I spent many years ignoring what He allowed to happen in my life. Two of my friends died in a car crash the day before I was 19. (nearly 30 years ago) I never even bothered to think about it, just kinda shrugged and thought "that's life". Years later, when I got down on my knees and said "Lord, I am a sinner and I want to accept this free gift of salvation", I could not believe how I had ignored Him then. This is not telling you that God is trying to tell you something right now, but it is sure possible that He is. If you feel that He is, then it is likely his Holy Spirit giving you a gentle nudge to turn to Him, the same way He did to me.

I hope that helps and make sense.

I am heading for sleep shortly, and I will be praying tonight for Him to show Himself very clearly to you.

You are in my prayers. I understand your anguish as I too have been at two accident sites where death was taking people. One elderly gentleman (he was a state senator) was dying in my arms and there was nothing that could be done, there were nurses in a car that stopped to help, but he would not accept Christ as I pleaded with him too, he just kept cursing and telling me to straighten his legs but they were mangled. Please understand that I am not in any way trying to sound cold, but the Bible says "the devil comes to kill, rob and destroy; but I (Jesus) come to give life more abundantly". Pat is right, without Jesus the devil has free reign. We give the devil that free reign. I implore you to consider allowing Jesus into your life. You guys are in my prayers.

Its amazing how God gets folks attention. I've oftened wondered why I know and trust Jesus Christ and some of my friends and family don't. Maybe some of us missed something and we didn't. Mortality is certainly a good reason to think of the afterlife and the creator of life now, and in the future when we leave earth. I really got serious about this the first night of missle attacks in Riyadh. Anyway, theres no doubt that a work has begun in you. So my prayers have been with you the last few days. Remember to ask as many questions here as you like. I hope and pray for you to have a fullfilling spiritual journey :TU:

Pat, you're in my prayers today. I don't know why these things happen to us, but I know that in the middle of our pain, God wants to pour out his love on us, and through us to each other.
