Does anybody know where I can get a reproduction air cleaner for a 72 gs 350?? I heard from someone not wanting to sell an original, that there are companys that make repoduction ones? However, I cannot find them. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.
I dont think anyone is reproducing the air cleaner. o No: You can buy the chrome lids, and foam seals etc, but the body you'll need to find an original.
I got one from a member here. Just post to parts wanted. The 72 will cost more if you are going for corect parts because it is a one year only part for 72. $300-$400 Good luck
I have a '69 piece that someone modified slightly. Square hole was cut in the LH side to allow the 70 & later style breather tubes from the valve cover. Original '69 square hole still there. Blasted & primed but still needs some clean-up around the vacuum motors. No plastic scoops but could still be used until you get some. I have a '72 stock Skylark breather I can cut a section from to use as a patch. $ 75.00 + shipping.
Thanks Steve, but I think I'll keep searching for an original 72. I have a stock skylark cleaner on , which will be fine for now. I'll post on "parts wanted" and see what I get.
