Yes, the alternator connections include the larger diameter red wire w/rubber boot seen on upper left as well as diode connection, and in the middle of the photo the four wire voltage regulator connector can be seen. I see the A/C connector in there too, in case your car has it.

    Awesome.

Vehicle fitment states, 1971 Buick Skylark (funny, Skylarks didn't have 455's - did they?).

I imagine it's good for most 455 years (mine is 72)...

Their website seems contradictory and quirky...I'll call them tomorrow - thanks for the help...

You should be good. And no, to get 455 you had to check the GS box. :)

Not surprising. The folks behind the e-commerce site programming aren't necessarily the gearheads.

I bought all of my wiring harnesses from American AutoWire. https://americanautowire.com/

They look great and so far everything is where it is supposed to be.

Max Damage I'm working on it!

I agree with Jon, better to buy form the manufacturer or a special reseller like Todd that knows our cars and stands behind their products.

Companies like OPG don't seem to know much and can be contradictory and confusing even in person.

Buy one from Todd Miller at Stage1restoration.com ...he will make sure you get the right one.

Odd, their website is even worse than OPGI and have no weekend customer service...

Todd doesn't run a FB group. Which one are you referring to?

Was I confused/mistaken about the moderators?

Maybe I was thinking TA Performance and Mike Tomaszewski...

    It was Curtis Stanley...

Todd is stage 1 restoration, I’ve been buying from him for years . Never had an issue, when I had a question I always got a response.

Todd doesn't run any Facebook groups.

I got both front harnesses from American Autowire back in 2020 when I did the new engine. I forgot Todd was carrying them or would have bought from him. I had zero issues with their website or their products.

From what I've seen on that Buick GS Facebook page, there's some serious keyboard warriors trolling around there who actually need to get banned.
