Need Manifolds

My 65 Skylark is needing new Exhaust Manifolds. 355 Wildcat Motor, so I guess it's a 340 or 300. Also my Trans won't go into 3rd. Any cross refs to other models? The local parts guys just scratch their heads when I say 65 Buick. Trying to restore this car as stock as possible but whatever works is fine too. Anyone with parts/help/info would be great.The lesson is replace Motor mounts often...lol

 

A 355 wildcat is a 300 4 barrel. You most likely have the st300 trans which has 2 gears. Thats probably why theres no 3rd gear.

Check with TA Performance on the exhaust manifolds...They may have some good used ones...

 

Forget retail parts vendors for your exhaust manifolds.

There are three sources where you can possibly find them.

1. The parts section here.

2. The parts section on www.buickclub.org

3. www.eBay.com, of course.

Shouldn't be hard to find. Remember, do not tighten these manifolds beyond 16 ft-lbs. They can be cracked by tightening.

 

I have two set of 350 exh. manifolds from about a 74 Regal, or something like that if you would like'm. I'd rather do that than throw them away.
