My old temperature control cable is hard to cycle. I've lubed and cycled it but it does not get much better. I called Old Air Products and they do not have them, but can make a new one from my old one for $50. Car has AC so it's just the one cable. Any recommendations for where to get one? Anybody have a nice one?

Bruno found me a good one. Used seems to be the only source. I soaked it in lube and worked it until it was smooth. Unless you want one made - see above.

I dug through my old parts boxes and found the cable from my donor car. I also sent an email to Old Air Products to see if they will make custom cables and if so, how much?

Ames has one for the GTO. You could check with them to see if it is the same length.

    Cheers

If someone had tried one of the GTO cables I'd be all for it but the 2 an anchor points OAL and stroke length are all going to be pretty application specific.
