    I would use the filter with the yellow fiber.

    Seems like a decent deal. My 87 Grand Nat BRF, 46k mile, with a D5 was $450 off the turbo boys site.

    Put in the new filter & fluid, run the SS Carlo convertor and try it out.:) you'll like it!

    never used anything but a the paper type material filter so idk anything about the other filter type. flexplates should bolt to the ss convertor.
