I looked around the web a bit and all my searches ended up at links to download specific software. I feel like the YouTube Studio would provide this feature but came up empty in that navigation.

I've seen a few board members post their videos with pictures imbedded in them and am wondering what the trick is? If separate software is inevitable, which do you prefer?

    Thanks in advance!

I use davinci resolve to do all my youtube editing. You can see some of my work there. The one where I buy dad a car for example has a picture of him and mom inserted at the end. There is a learning curve to the software but nothing you cant do and its free.

I use Wondershare Filmora. There is an annual fee, but you get a ton of music and templates included in the software. I think the fee is like $70

I edit videos for quite a few YouTube channels and for Apple/MAC footage I use Apple Final Cut Pro, I believe that's around US$ 300 to buy.
For PC I use DaVinci Resolve, I think it's also US$ 300 when you have to buy it.

You need to meet at least the minimum system requirements to run those programs and too much is never overkill.

A good program is like new clothes, you have to get used to it first before it gets comfortable.
You can use several different free programs to get all the tricks and options without paying for it, but sometimes that will also cause problems.

I will look into YouTube Studio, simply adding photos to an exisiting file should be included, because it's a very basic thing.

Any chance you had an opportunity to look into this?

I use Window Movie Maker. It does an OK job for free. You can drag video to it, drop it on, clip the front/rear/middle in/out, add stills and titles/credits.

You'd think YouTube Studio wouldn't hide this feature, taking into account how many users there are.
