Getting ready to put the forward J bars on the 69 and was wondering if anyone had some good pics and/or install advice. Inner fenders are still on the car so it looks like it's gonna be tight especially on the drivers side where the fusebox and MC are.
Couple more questions. I've seen a lot of strip cars with the inner fenders removed. I've also heard that because of the wind getting inside the engine bay that the car can slow down slightly or even become squirrely at the big end. Any experience with this? Also regarding the J bars, do they actually help with the safety of the car since it is already a full frame car? The car has a 10pt cage right now.
