I got off my butt and finally got my skylark plates and tags, but i had some trouble with the tilt column staying in position. so im either looking for somewhere to rebuild my column or to replace it outright. so does anyone know any good shops around joplin mo to take it too? or can anyone give me the scoop on these classic industries or summit columns and what needs done to install it?
I know George Neandovich (sp?) Rebuilds them. He runs the BPG site & I think is on FB. Not sure his username or if he's even on here.
Me either.. Had I known probably would have sent mine there. I sent mine to Gary's Classics, http://www.garys-classics.net/, and have no complaints. Obviously if shipping you're taking on risk and whatever shipping costs are, but my experience was rather pleasant and the restored column turned out great.
