I need to locate the 4 bolts that attach a manual tranny to the stock factory aluminum bellhousing. I looked on the year one web site and all I saw was either stainless 1 1/2 SAE hex head for the aluminum bellhousing or 1 1/4 SAE hex head for cast iron bellhousing. Is there a source for just plain ole regular bolts, not stainless and if not what is the correct length and thread size should I have to get them from the hardware store? Also should I use washers with them?

attn racebuicks, need tranny to bellhousing bolts

I could have sworn that these bolts were supposed to have a larger head on them, the ones that hold the tranny to the bellhousing. I'm just trying to picture the ones I used in my 4 speed olds sway and they were all factory. Well can't get under the car to look for a while. If they will definately work then i will need 10 of them, 6 for the bellhousing to block and 4 for the tranny to bellhousing. Please send me your paypal address so i can order. I will assume the price will be 25 plus shipping?

These are not the same size as the bellhousing to block. They are smaller. These are only for the trans to the bellhousing. The same bolt you would use for the automatic bellhousing is the same for the stick bellhousing.
