Coming from a jobsite in my 3/4 ton van I had this absolute cutie late teens early twenties next to me in traffic on her Yamaha R-1000 sportbike. We pass an intersection where some guy on his Suzuki S-600 sportbike sees her go by and turns after us to catch up to her.

He pulls up next to her as we cruise slowly but she ignores him as we sludge through traffic but they end up first in line at the last red light before the road opens up from the conjestion. I am right behind them.

He twits the throttle quicky a couple of times to try and get her to look over but she justs cocks her head slightly and nods.

    The race is on!

He's acting goofy and not really getting ready but she is intently watching the signal on the cross street to see when it changes. She is instensly into this. He is assuming she does not know what she is doing.

I can hear her bring up the revs as the crosstreet light goes red and she lays down on the tank elbows up. He's starting to bring his revs up as the light goes green but she is gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She put 8-10 lengths on him before he even dumped the clutch and just kept opening it up from there. Girl knew how to launch that thing!

She definately has done this before.

I caught up to her a few blocks later and gave her a big thumbs up. She had this big grin on her face and the dude on the 600 was nowhere to be found.

And I couldn't even find GUYS who could ride worth a $hit to cruise with.

Sounds like one dream girl just 30+ years too late for me  Maybe I dated her Mom.

    Nice kill

Bet he'll never pick a race with another girl.:eek2: Wish you had got it on camera, and posted it. He'd be the laughing stock. Probably sell the bike. Was he a local, or do you know?

Actually, I kept thinking his blue Suzuki looked familiar and when I was going to my A/C supply house this morning I spot his bike at a collision shop next door to my supply house where he works.

I was really temted to go in and ask him what happened. I figured he'd loose to the 1000 if the girl had any skills at all but not get hammered that bad.

The girl just flat got it. No wheely, no smokin the tire, just slipped the clutch until she could let it go.

I was really impressed with her ability to launch that hard and not lift the front wheel. I'm sure she is a college student here at the University of Florida.

That must have been a totally cool thing to witness :TU:

... a few years ago I was at a lite next to Ninja WariorBoy way out east on L.I. where its pretty wide open. He was looking over during the red and nodded his approval then flipped his visor down and got ready. I threw him a few rev's for the appreciation

At the green he just let me go - and Go I did !! ... a half second later he comes screaming by as the wheel is creeping up higher and higher and he's shifting gears all the while. BigRed ran well but I brought a can opener to a gun fight. At about 110 I let out and he was about 15 cars ahead and still hadn't laid the front wheel down yet and that impressed the heck out of me :3gears:

My son goes over to the big motorcycle dealership in town that sells pretty much every brand. He goes there pretty often to dream over and and talk bikes and is well known.

So he starts relating the story of this girl and how well she rode to one of the mechanics and they all know of her there.

Evidently, one of the mechanics there lost to her too.

If my son was a little older she would make a cool daughter-in-law.
