In a few weeks and 'new to me' Buick will be joining my herd. I have a 2019 Buick TourX wagon as a daily and a 1987 GN that I've owned since the early 90's. I've owned a bunch of 1978-1987 Turbo Buicks since the early 80's. I joined this forum many years ago and stalked the pages for years looking for a GS or Skylark convertible. I also peeked at the wagon section from time to time. But I've been wanting a 70-72 GS or Skylark (to clone into a GS) convertible to go along with my GN since I started attending Buick GS Nats back in the 90's.

A long time friend is getting ready to thin his Buick herd in his retirement. He has several cars I would love to have, but I really only ever wanted one, his 1972 GS convertible. We have worked out the deal for the car.

Unfortunately I will have to treat the car as a barn/storage find. The car has been in his storage facility for 11+ years and sat untouched in the prior owners garage for about 10 years prior to that. It's been out of the weather, but the ravages of time effect everything. Sucks that it ran and drove when parked, but it is a complete, rust free (from the pictures I have seen) and a numbers matching GS 350 convertible. Also sucks that something fell on the passenger fender and dented it pretty good. Gonna be more work and $$$$'s due to the condition than I anticipated, but I'm not going to complain since I will own a couple of my bucket list cars
