Have you seen a pair in person?

I just bought another pair. This will be the third set from them. Very nice!

That is good enough for me. The hardware from CARS is several times their price.

Does anyone know where to get a repro chrome AC brand oil fill cap to match these valve covers?

    Thanks,

    Ken

    Did you try CARS?

Someone, either here on on our email list, stated 81-84 Buicks have the correct cap but they have a black and white decal on them hiding the AC logo. I believe they are the V6 Somersets and another front wheel drive wonder! I will have to search the local yards this weekend and see if I can find some. Local yards here are flooded w/front wheel drive GM cars. I will also check other GM lines with the 3.3-3.8L Buick engines.

I was wondering if it is the same cap as used on 68-70 GTO chrome valve covers. maybe I should check the repro GTO vendor's sites. All I saw in my CARS catalog was the breather style used up to 67 on GM cars without closed crankcase ventilation. Thanks.

So where do you get the correct chromed plastic wire looms to go with them?

The correct black plastic looms are sold I believe at CARS.

There is a nice quality reproduction chrome '67-70 Pontiac valve cover cap, but it is not the same detailing as original. Perfect originals of the '67-70 Pontiac cap will bring $150-200 to high end Judge & T/A restorers. NOS chrome versions of this "style" cap that show up on e-Bay are usually the '77-79 Pontiac style. The style of chrome valve cover cap used on '80's HT4100 Cadillacs is another version all together...have several of those as well.

When get back to warehouse & my master parts books, will post the Pontiac part numbers. Get time, will get some pics.

I vaguely recall a chrome oil cap on the family 81 Buick Skylark with 2.8 V6...
