New here. Bought a cool 67 skylark last weekend found it on CL. Local car I had never seen it before. Other than 1 repaint it's all original perfect interior Disc brake posi rearend. Original window sticker original title original owner kept a maintenance record on the pages of the warranty booklet. He changed oil every 1000 miles trans fluid &filter every 10k flushed cooling system every 10k car has 96k on it now. I have a reciept from local tuffy muffler dated 1980 showing 90,000 miles back then. Absolutely no rust nice paint. Got it from second owner who had it 10 years and hardly drove it.I've been a chevy guy forever but couldn't pass up a car this original with this much original paperwork. So now I'm a Buick guy which is fitting because I used to work in the body shop of the oldest Buick dealership in America. Garber Buick in Saginaw MI in fact this car was bought there new.. I would post some pics but being a newbie don't know how yet. Could e-mail a couple to a member if they want to post them

Thanks for all the comments. And thanks Chris for posting those pics. Doing some minor clean-up on car. Engine bay is a little dirty. not sure how aggressive im gonna get cleaning it. somebody painted valve covers years ago but other than that its all original. right down to battery cables, regulator, wiper motor. even has the original t-3 headlights.Paint on original air cleaner is real nice right down to the factory painted on printing on the side. theres a rustproofing place near here known for their work. I think they coated it. So there is a little of there special mix of coating in spots. The good thing is its not the heavy black stuff that dries hard its like a mix of STP and oil then dust has accumilated on it. its only on insides of fenders and under car but I think ill make a bigger mess if I try to clean it than if i just leave it alone. I think I'm gonna put a set of 17 or 18 inch wheels on it with redlines. anybody have any rim width and back space specs. probably want to run a 255-40 or 45 on the back and a 245-40 or 45 on the front

Welcome to a fellow 67 owner, best year!
Here's a pic of mine with 17x8s (Foose) with 265/40 rear and 245/45 front.
Not sure of back spacing, were on the car when I got it.
Good luck with your sharp looking Skylark, would look good with some 15 inch
    Buick ralleys also.

Did some cleanup underneath car with power washer. Frame and rearend cleaned up nice. Found the posi tag that i couldnt see before because of all the grease I found a couple of inspection paint marks on frame and on the pass side front frame horn I found an ink stamp that says OK with some other small printing under it. Did a light power wash in engine compartment. I think that's gonna be the extent of clean up. I'm at the point where I either leave it alone or tear it apart to clean it to the next level.. Since it's un messed with and respectable as it is I'm gonna leave it alone. Engine bay is to original to screw with. It still has the original starter on it still with factory paint on it plus original volt regulator, bat cables etc.. So it may not be as clean and detailed as it would like but I think for the sake of originality I need to leave it the way it is.

It's a nice day here I've been out driving it no time for pics. I'll get some today and send them. It's nothing pretty but other than hoses & belts it's the way Buick built it. All I did was get all the caked on grease off it. I have a project on my hoist now. As soon as I move that I can put it in the air and clean a little more. It rides great no Squeaks no rattles. I have 2 ElCaminos. I think I'll sell one of those and keep this Buick for a while
