Neat site,I've got a 72 455 and a donor 430(blown but heads are good),how much better are the 430 heads?What is the diff in cc's between the two?Also i didn't see a parts for sale/wanted on here is that not allowed?Thanks.
Hi Rico, If you scroll to the bottom of the main page, you'll see a forum for parts/cars for sale/wanted. Only stipulation is that you please state price and location for parts and cars for sale. I'm not an expert by any means on the heads, but I think there is a specific set of 430 heads that have "tall ports"....I'll try to dig up the casting number on them. Otherwise, I think you're better off with the 455 heads and having them ported by Greg Gessler or someone who knows how to do it right:TU:
Head porting is out of the question($)so i was pondering the best stock combination and compression ratio was high on the list.:grin:
