No offense taken, no need to apologize. I'm sure there are lot of people on here like that. I think from pictures the Pontiac might be a 59. Just from looking at the front end. Guess I got out of school a bit earlier than you! 73! I worked on a Mercedes once too, didn't impress me at all either. SBC's how many of them has a guy seen in his lifetime! Always was a sucker for the BBC's myself! I used mostly Sun "scopes" as we called them but I think one place I worked at had a Bear. They're mostly all the same. I'll PM you my email. I know an OLD mechanic that may have a garage sale next year. I apprenticed under him 78&79. He may have one still, I plan on going to his sale when he does. Also have a line on a couple more old Buicks one is around a 56 Roadmaster supposed to be pretty rough. I'll have a look at it soon. Saw it many years ago. Still had glass and all in it. Not now I believe. The other I was told is about a 59 guy said it was put up on blocks a long time ago. I'll have to give him a call soon. Pretty cold here right now and possibly heading to work for a few days in the next couple days.
