Got my new pistons today from work. Yeah I work at Advance Auto as a part timer while in school. But anyway, I ordered the sealed power pistons with the exact part number as TA's forged pistons....

Anyone can walk into an Advance Auto store and buy them for 402.48 plus state tax. Nothing against TA, but us po'-folk need to save every penny. Nice thing about working there is the 20% discount. 344.52 isnt bad those pistons.

Summit sells them too, huh? Of course they never list anything in their catalog when you browse. You have to know the part number. With Summit, don't you also avoid sales tax?

I never looked at summits catalog for those pistons, but come to think about it, they usually have everything on there online catalog... well as long as you have the part number you can search for it... if you just browse, good luck finding many buick parts.
