Hi all, I am Jake. I have recently been looking at buying a car, and I came across a 67 Buick. I haven't picked it up yet, and dont even know the model of it, maybe yall could help? I only have one pic until the owner emails me some more.

Haha, I will try too. Hoping i end up getting this Buick, only asking 1K for it, and I dont think the owner is much of a car guy himself.

All i know is that the car is a 67 and he claims it has a 350 in it, but i thought the 350 wasnt used until 68.

I havent seen the car yet, its an hour away, and i have no car at the moment, have to go down to see it soon. But it has the 2bbl carb on it, i am betting its the 340 because this guy has no clue about the car. If he did it would not be so cheap.

Maybe a LeSabre...only three portholes that I can see

'67 LeSabre. Three ventiports and no hood spear are a dead giveaway.

Would have had a 340 cid V8 with a ST300 two-speed trans (variable pitch converter, too) unless it somehow got the LeSabre 400 option, then it would have been the 340 engine with the ST400 three-speed auto.

Look closely at the frame, frame-to-body mounts, floor pans and trunk for rust.

Thanks, I will. So with a 2 speed auto, what kind of highway MPG would this thing get?

Well I just emailed the seller about it, should know what is up with the motor shortly. Hopping it is a Buick 340, not a SBC in there. Hoping to maybe even pick it up saturday, just got my stimulus check, so that is really going to help me buy it! :3gears:

Doesn't matter if it's a two or three speed trans...final gear is 1:1. Mileage will depend on state of tune, engine health and rear axle ratio.

Safe to say a trip from FL to CA wouldn't be very affordable. ;)

Ahh good to know that. If i buy it, the car will be making a trip from flint, where it is at, to bay city, both in MI, about an hour drive.
