new to the board

    hi all, i'm new to the board and new to v8's again(ive had turbo 4bangers the past few years) i now have halladays old 79 regal thats all. just wanted to introduce myself

    I remember seeing one of the GLH-S's run at Maple Grove (PA). He sure suprised quite a few folks!!:eek2: The guy pushed it to low 12's - unfortunately, he pushed it a little too far - he blew a head gasket!:Dou:

    I guess we can blame Carrol Shelby for the current 'ricers'!:Brow: :grin:

    yeah, the 2.2/2.5 has alot of potential. there are a few running in the 10's.. ever see a 10sec k-car?:jd: :laugh:

    HEY ... i got one of them 85 GLH turbos settin here in my driveway .... i need to put a starter on it. it is a blast to drive. my best friend bought it new in 85. black with gray interior. his wife put a bunch of miles on it .... the interior is icky and trashed but the sucker flies (once the starter kicks in and cranks it over).
    in first and second gear(5-speed), letting go of the steering wheel when the turbo grabs would be suicide.
