Not a Buick, but highly anticipated, anyway. A new Kubota BX1800 tractor with loader. Tim Taylor, eat your heart out...

With 10+ acres, 3 horses, 2 creeks & a quarter-mile long drive, it will get plenty of use! Anyone else here have one?

I get it next week. Had to tell someone - my wife just doesn't understand...

    I couldn't afford that one.

    Hello Greg,
Don't really have much to add but being so close to you (Batesville IN) at work I had to give my 2 cents. Nice Nice tractor,
belly mower, or 3 pt finisher?

I had to go cheaper, Cub Cadet 7273 27hp 3 cyl desiel. 72 inch belly mower. No front end loader on mine either, I have a cheapo 1978 B610 Melroe Bobcat for that work.

Are there any Cincinnati area fall car shows coming? I would like to get into something before the year ends around here. Which seems from the weather going to end soon.

    Good luck! Happy mowing/earthmoving!

Cool !!! How long is the shut down area ??? :Brow:

If I had a quarter mile long drive.....it would get plenty of use too !! Id make frequent test hops on it :TU: :TU:

Seriously.....good luck with the new "Toy"

54" belly mower. Need to put mulching blades on it, though (a little anal about the yard, ya know...). I'm more excited about the loader and the 3 pt. set-up. Got fence posts to dig and trenches to do (elect. to the barn & water to the pasture). Looks like I'll be spending some time at the implement rental yard...

I've got a 7 year-old Craftsman lawn tractor that sees most of the mowing work. 15.5 horse Kohler - man that thing has taken the abuse! Bar tires and wheel weights have really made a difference (especially pulling stumps!). The day that mower dies I'll probably break down in tears. Dang fine machine... but it don't move manure & dirt!

It's taken 4 years of pleading, begging, bitchin and sulking to finally get through to the wife that we REALLY needed a tractor. Didn't hurt having her hand dig a few dozen fence posts, either.

As for the driveway, well, it resembles more of an SCCA track! And, gravel too - yuk!
