New with a 70 Wildcat 455 survivor with pics now PICS AND STORY ARE NOW ON PAGE 2 OF THIS THREAD Hi, names John. I wrote a story and description about my car and included pics but when I hit submit it said I need 10 posts to include pic links. Then I lost the story and description trying to remove the links and I'm not writing it again. What a waste of time.
John, welcome to V8Buick! Sorry about the posting issues. The software is set to not allow pics and/or links til after 10 posts, in order to prevent spam from blasting us in hit-n-run fashion.

Thanks guys, I will admit I was pretty miffed about spending the time to write and get the pic links etc only to loose it all. It's a 70 2 dr 455 auto, green/black custom ordered by a friend of mine new with buckets console etc. I've had it 20-25 years.
When I type up a looong post, I like to highlight my text, then right-click and save it(or Ctrl C), before hitting the submit button. That way if there's a software glitch(it happens), all I have to do is start the post again, and right-click(or Ctrl V) and paste it all back in.
Yeah... I have the same issue being new here to. However, I would rather have to post a few times rather then see useless inforamation and advertisements for 'boner' and weight loss pills.:bglasses:

I thought when a person signs up it tells you somewhere about the 10 post rule. I cant recall but if not, it should. Im all for whatever keeps spam,pop ups and advertisments on this board to a minimum and so far it seems to be working great! Anyways, welcome John. We all love pics so just keep posting and youll be there before you know it. We could use a few more Wildcats around here.. This is hands down the best forum Ive ever been involved in and the amount of Buick knowledge here is off the charts! Logging in here will very soon be your next addiction. And I for one would enjoy reading your story if you decide to give it another go.:TU:
Welcome John! I'm very new also but love the site, after ten posts pics are no problem, altho had to have my daughter resize the pics to work but all in all I'm back everyday!!
