The board seems really quiet about BG. I will post show results later today along with car counts for this year and last. I want to thank wild Bill for the arial show over the News Inn Friday night. I assume it was Bill. Let's hear your stories.

Loon, was a good time for sure!! Caught up to MANY of the people here from the board! However, like I had said in a post some time ago- those that are INTO Buicks for the 'long haul' are the ones that show up at these events (GSCA and BPG). I know there are costs associated with these events.. BUT, the cars you will see, the knowledge you can gain and the friends you can make...

Congrats to everyone who participated in the event!!! Looking forward to next year!!!

PS: 1968-1969 owners- PLEASE GO!! There was only ONE 1968 representing us this year (and it was a pristine, CONCOURS GOLD awarded 1968 GS 400 4 speed) in a ROW of those 'Chevelle-wanna-be' 1970's GS's....:bla::moonu::laugh:

I know it dont really count for what your taliking about but MY 68 was there in all her glory.Had a great time but being from Fla i felt it was wicked cold. Slept in a tent at the camp ground. Taking 2nd place in my class was an honor in that class/quality of cars.

I talked to Fred Catlin and he was all wound up! He loved seeing all the old Buick racers. I would have loved to be there but maybe next year.

Nice pics, caught one of my nephew's '70 GS 455. Red with Mich. plates, BOTLFED. Any way I could download it and send to him? His car was featured in the GS Nats ads on their web site for 2012. Thanks for posting quite a nice bunch of pics:TU:

Ryans-GSX Have fun, life is short.

I had a fantastic time at the Nationals and it was due to the people there.
George it was great to meet you. I will keep you in mind when I find any 68-69 Buicks. Thanks for all your help when I bought that 70 vert. I didn't forget you or your help.
Mark Cant begin tell you what a treat it was to drive your 68 GS400 that car is SWEET. Thanks for letting me take it for a spin. I still owe you a lunch.
James W. Great to see you and LOVED that car of yours. That car was done very well and I am glad to see you enjoy the cars you spend so much time restoring. And let me say you do fantastic work and attention to detail. Great Job and congrats on the GOLD !
WildBill Wildcat meeting was fun and I proudly except my membership into your club. Your a blast.
Ajesh I truly enjoyed getting a chance to talk with you and hope to catch up again next year and see one of your cars.
Jeff Horseman It was good to see ya but get off the phone. LOL just kidding hope we can catch up next year and I feel better so we can go party on the town
Roy Glad you came with Chris and hung out with all us. See you next year
Alan (SS4825) You and your sweet wife are always such a joy to hang with. The bratwurst was so good ! thanks so much for lunch.
GSJOE Really enjoyed talking with you and getting a chance to meet someone that does the caliber of cars you do.
John Looney My Brother. Congrats on the silver. Duane is a hard man to get anything past. Your car is gorgeous.
Chris P. Cant even put into words how much it meant to me to meet you. Your friendship has helped me though some tough times. I had a great time hanging out. Just wish I was not so darn sick. I hope to see you again next year.

This is the reason to go to the nationals and other events. Its about the people you meet first and then about the cars. I had the most fun though I was very sick and now even sicker. Just left the hospital. Thanks to everyone I had the chance to meet and hang out with for making this event GREAT for me. :TU:

Does anyone know the name/contact info of the vendor at the campground end of the strip? I believe he had a red trailer and a large lot of parts all over the ground. I stopped by on my way out Sat afternoon to look at a 66Riv posi rear and set some items down then got into my truck and left. I figured out where my stuff went after tearing the truck apart yesterday looking for it. Thanks in advance.
