Kept hearing a noise coming from the vicinity of the a/c compressor so I removed the belt and the noise went away!

So, the clutch portion functions properly , but spinning the freewheeling pulley is very noisy.

I read the manual and it looks fairly straight forward to pull the assembly off, but where does one get the special socket and puller mentioned in the manual. They have got to be super expensive if even still available?

Is the bearing available or do I have to buy the whole clutch assembly?

Lastly any suggestions on getting the assembly off without the special tools.

    As always,TIA.

If your going to pull it do the complete assmbly. Theres a tool for pulling it off and a tool for pressing it back on. easiest way to do it is on the bench. Theres a snap ring way down in there. Make sure you get it off before you try to pull it. many vids on youtube.

Thanks for the "heads up" on the Youtube videos.
My son is always saying to look there first, but I grew up with tech manuals, not videos, so I forget.
I would like to not have to discharge the system an break those connections if it can avoided.

    But thanks again.
